TIL my closed terrariums were basically drowning

I kept losing ferns in my big jar setup and my friend in Portland said, "Claire, you're watering a sealed box." I pulled the cork for a day and everything perked right up. How often do you guys actually open yours?

But honestly andrew916, your buddy probably had a good reason for it. Sometimes you gotta break the rules to get stuff done, right? The system is set up to stop people, but that just makes it slow for everyone. I bet your friend found a faster way and it worked out fine. People get too hung up on following every tiny step.
