Watering from the top is fine, I don't care what anyone says
I kept seeing people online swear that bottom watering is the only way to keep terrariums healthy. So I tried it for 3 months with my sealed jar setup and all my moss started browning at the edges. Switched back to a gentle mist from the top once a week and everything greened up in 2 weeks. Has anyone else had better luck ignoring the popular advice?

An old coworker of mine tried bottom watering for three months straight with her peace lily. She said it was the best thing she ever did for the plant because the soil stayed evenly moist and the leaves got huge. But then she went on vacation for two weeks and forgot to set up a backup, came back to a brown crispy mess.
