Dollar store super glue surprised the heck out of me
I always figured their glue would be watery junk, but that $1.25 tube held a broken ceramic mug together for 6 months now. Anyone else find a dollar store adhesive that actually works better than the brand name stuff?

Hold the tube upside down for a second before you squeeze, that's the trick. The watery stuff settles at the bottom and the thicker, gummier part stays near the top. Once you get past that first bit, the rest is actually really solid. It's not gonna work for everything, but for small fixes like a mug handle or a loose button I've had way better luck with it than the name brand gel stuff.
