Used cheap glue sticks from the dollar store until my last project fell apart after 3 days
I switched to the clear multipurpose epoxy they sell there instead of the white glue sticks and now my little crafts actually hold together. Anyone else find a random dollar store swap that made a big difference?

Oh man, I gotta disagree a bit. I mean yeah, glue type definitely matters but I've had dollar store superglue gel fail on me just as bad as the cheap sticks. It dried all cloudy and brittle on my stuff, same as the liquid kind. I think sometimes the cheaper stuff just uses a different formula that doesn't cure right no matter what form it comes in.

Idk if this is the same thing, but I grabbed a pack of the superglue gel from the dollar store instead of the liquid kind and it doesn't run everywhere or glue my fingers together. My little resin charms actually hold their shape now instead of melting into a sticky mess after a day. Maybe it's just the type of glue that matters more than the brand.
