Walked into a Dollar Tree in Phoenix and changed my mind about their baking stuff

I always thought their baking pans were garbage until I saw someone's cake on here that came out perfect. Picked up a 9-inch round pan for $1.25 and used it for a birthday cake last weekend, no sticking or warping at all. Anybody else find a dollar store item that surprised them?

I grabbed a loaf pan there once and it baked perfectly even.

Gotta say I was on the fence about that brand for years, always thought their bakeware was hit or miss. But @the_piper I grabbed one of those same loaf pans a few months back just to try it and you're right, the heat distribution is really solid. Mine came out perfectly even too, no burnt edges or raw middle like I used to get with other pans. It changed my whole opinion on their stuff honestly, now I look at their bakeware differently.
