Had a total meltdown on a big drafting project last Tuesday
I was working on a commercial HVAC layout for a 3-story office building in Portland and my AutoCAD just froze mid-edit. Lost about 2 hours of work because I hadn't hit save. Ended up having to redo all the ductwork routing from scratch, and the client wanted it by Friday. Anyone else have a backup routine that actually sticks?

Did you have autosave on at ALL or was it just completely off? Because I've had AutoCAD eat my lunch before and now I set autosave to every 5 minutes like a paranoid person.

5 min autosave is basically life insurance for your digital sanity.
