My laser level took a dive off a ladder last Tuesday and I'm still mad about it
I was setting up layout for some ceiling grids in a remod downtown, had my laser level clamped to the top rung while I was marking points. A guy from the drywall crew walked by and his extension cord snagged the tripod leg. That thing hit the concrete floor hard, the housing cracked and now the beam is all wobbly and dim. I had to finish the layout by string line which took twice as long. Tried to see if it was just the lens but the whole internals seem loose. Anyone else ever drop a laser and find a fix that didn't cost as much as a new one?

'All wobbly and dim' sounds like you might be overreacting a bit, honestly.

Nah man, I gotta disagree. That feeling when your vision goes all wobbly and things start looking dim is legit unsettling. It's not like a little lightheadedness, it's a full on "something is wrong" signal from your body. You'd probably notice too if it happened to you.
