Overheard a senior drafter say "stop dimensioning like it's 1995" and it stung because he was right

Old habits die hard, huh.

Old habits can be a real comfort zone for some people, no doubt. But from where I sit, habits are just routines that worked at some point and might not serve you anymore. It took me a long time to realize that changing a habit doesn't mean you're rejecting your past, just making room for something better. Your mileage may vary, but I've seen plenty of folks hold onto habits that were holding them back way longer than necessary. Respectfully, I think staying the same can be its own kind of trap if you're not careful.
