Rant: My cheap tablet for on-site markups cost me a full day of work
I bought a no-name brand drawing tablet for $80 to do quick redlines in the field. The pen pressure just stopped working after a month, right in the middle of a big site plan update. I had to go back to the office and redo three hours of work on my main machine. Has anyone found a reliable budget tablet that can actually handle daily use?

Man that is the worst feeling, losing work to a gear failure. Didn't @xenar14 have a point about the drivers being the real issue with those cheap ones? It's like they just give up. I've been burned before too, and it makes you want to just throw the thing. A reliable tool is worth so much more than the price tag when your time is on the line.

That's a classic problem with the super cheap tablets. Saw a review that said the drivers for those off-brand ones are often the weak point. Maybe try a used Wacom Intuos, the older models are built like tanks.
