Switched to a 0.3mm lead for a tight detail job and it actually saved time
Had to draft some tiny gear teeth for a client's model engine, so I grabbed a 0.3mm mechanical pencil instead of my usual 0.5. Lines were so clean I didn't need to erase and redraw nearly as much, finished the sheet an hour early. Anyone else find a small tool change makes a big difference on fussy work?

Read somewhere that surgeons use finer tools for micro work for the same reason. Makes total sense now.

Actually saw a documentary where they showed eye surgery tools up close. The precision needed is crazy, like working on a tiny, living machine. It's wild how specialized those instruments have to be.
