Tbh, I switched from manual dimensioning to using the 'Annotate' toolset in AutoCAD 2023 for a month and my drawing time got cut by at least 30%.

Honestly, the automatic alignment and leader creation just makes everything cleaner and faster, so has anyone else found a specific drafting tool that actually saved them real time?

Saw my buddy finally try the dynamic block feature after years of avoiding it. He set up a single block for all his door types instead of drawing each one. Saved him a whole afternoon on his last floor plan.

My old boss at the drafting firm would have had a heart attack hearing that. He insisted on drawing every single door from scratch, like it built character or something. I bet your buddy spent more time avoiding the feature than it would have taken to learn it five years ago. That's the real time save, finally getting over the fear of the right click menu.
