Went to a big box store yesterday and their drafting section was a JOKE

I needed some new eraser shields and a better parallel bar for my board, so I drove 30 minutes to the nearest OfficeMax. Got there and their drafting aisle is now just two shelves of cheap compass sets and some old graph paper. The guy working there told me they stopped carrying most of it because 'nobody uses that stuff anymore.' I get that digital is bigger now, but come on. Has anyone else noticed how hard it is to find decent manual drafting supplies in regular stores these days?

Oh yeah, "nobody uses that stuff anymore" - except for literally everyone who still works on paper? I went looking for a decent lead holder the other day and the one store that had them only carried the super cheap plastic ones that break if you look at them wrong. You know what though, they had a whole aisle dedicated to those planner stickers and fancy pens that cost more than my lunch. So the market really died for actual drafting supplies but exploded for people who want to decorate their bullet journals with washi tape. Guess I'll just keep using my eraser shield until it turns into a ghost of its former self.
