Why does nobody talk about the new PDF export settings in AutoCAD 2024?

I spent 3 hours last Thursday fighting a set of drawings that kept printing with missing lineweights. Checked everything a dozen times. Plot style tables, layer properties, the works. Then my buddy from a firm in Denver told me they changed the default PDF export compression in the latest update. Had me go into the plot dialog and switch it from "High" to "Normal" compression. Fixed it instantly. Has anyone else run into this change sneaking up on them?

High compression messed up our lineweights too until we switched to normal.
