Found a chart showing cutterhead vibration limits that stopped me cold
Was flipping through a 2024 USACE manual appendix last night and saw that even 0.5 G's of vibration can cut your swing bearing life by half, has anyone else's shop actually measured this stuff or do we all just run till she rattles?

Nina you seen the same charts that made me drop my coffee? I swear half the shops I've been in don't even own an accelerometer. We just run till the grease comes out neon orange and cross our fingers. The USACE data is brutal but nobody wants to stop production to take readings.

Well, "cut your swing bearing life by half" just from 0.5 G's? That's a lot scarier than I thought. I always figured you had a little more wiggle room before things got that serious.
