Old dredge I ran back in 2009 still runs better than new ones

Took out a 1999 Ellicott that sat for 3 years. Fired up on the second crank. Newer models I run now have electrical gremlins every other month. Anyone else got an old machine that just won't quit?

Old iron just has less stuff to break, plain and simple.

And that's the thing with old iron, they just built them tougher back then before all the computer crap got added. My 2004 CAT is the same way, never throws a code and just runs like a beast.
