Stuck between a bucket chain and a cutter suction on the Ohio River last spring

Picked the bucket chain for a tight channel job even though the cutter suction was rated for tougher material. How'd that decision pan out for anyone else who had to make the call based on site conditions?

Respectfully, cutter suction would've been my call in that situation. Bucket chains struggle with real Ohio River clay and you lose a lot of time cleaning out the buckets.
