Update: fixed my pump cavitation issue after a guy at the dock called me out
Some old timer at the Port of Tacoma told me my suction line was too long and I was starving the pump. Shortened it by 8 feet and the vibration cleared right up. Has anyone else had to rework their setup after getting blunt feedback?

Might be overselling it a bit. A short hose helps with heatsoak on the intake for sure, but there's probably other stuff going on too if it feels like a total transformation. In my experience, those short ram setups can actually lose a little low-end torque compared to the factory airbox. Still a solid upgrade, just not a magic bullet.
