Can we talk about bilge pumps dying at the worst possible time?
Mine gave out last Tuesday at 3am during a surprise storm in Newport Harbor. Woke up to water sloshing over the floorboards. Had to hand bail with a bucket for an hour before I could get the spare in. The old one was only 2 years old and I tested it monthly. Did I get a bad unit or is this just normal for the price point? Curious if anyone else has had one fail on them like that.

Tbh that hand bailing bit brings back memories of my old pump dying mid lake with a cooler full of fish.

Why not just fix the pump before heading out?
