Found out my marina's water line has lead solder joints from the 80s...

I was reading the inspection report from the pump-out service last week and noticed a test result that showed 15 ppm lead in the tap at slip 47... has anyone else run into this with older marina plumbing?

That 15 ppm is pretty wild. I've seen some older setups where the lead levels were concerning but not quite that high. I'd be curious what the rest of the slips test at because it might just be one bad pipe instead of the whole system.

Wait, are you telling me my morning coffee has been getting an extra helping of 1980s plumbing flavor this whole time? I mean, I knew my boat taste-tested everything before I did, but 15 ppm is basically a souvenir from the Reagan administration. At this point I'm just hoping the lead gives my bilge pump some extra character. Guess I'll be switching to bottled water until I can get a new hose run from the dock box.
