Tbh, a client's measuring tape skills gave me a real headache yesterday

Honestly, they told me the wall was 8 feet tall, so I cut all my sheets to size before heading over. When I got there, the actual height was 9 feet because they measured from the floor up to the ceiling fan. Had to recut everything on site and wasted a bunch of material. Ngl, I spent the rest of the day just piecing together scraps like a jigsaw puzzle.

My buddy's client measured a window from the outside trim once, total disaster.

Once saw someone measure from the baseboard, not the floor.

Measuring from the baseboard is such a weird move, @the_jenny. My cousin did that when we were hanging pictures, and everything ended up crooked. Always go from the floor for accurate results.
