Used to think taping a 12-foot ceiling joint was a two-person job. After watching a guy in Spokane use a simple pole extension on his bazooka, I tried it solo last month and saved half a day.

My old foreman in Tacoma taught me the same thing with a paint roller pole and duct tape. I mean, it looks a bit janky but it gets the job done alone. Saved me so many trips up and down the ladder.

Did you ever get duct tape residue all over your hands during a rainstorm? I swear that's the real test of whether a hack is worth it or not.

My Spokane buddy showed me that trick with a broom handle and a hose clamp.
