Appreciation post: the older west end neighborhoods near Callingwood

I was looking at property tax records for the callingwood area last week. Found out some of those 1970s bungalows have way lower taxes per square foot than the new infills going up in Ritchie. Anyone else notice old neighborhoods are actually cheaper to hold long term?

Are those old bungalows actually cheaper to maintain long term though?

Totally depends on how you define "maintain." If you like replacing cast iron pipes and rewiring knob and tube... they're a steal.
