Heat map trick saved me $600 on my south-facing duplex listing
Photographed a bungalow near Whyte Ave in July and the agent kept asking why the living room looked so dark in every shot. Told him to check the heat map on his phone - south facing windows with no blinds were cooking the sensor at 2pm. We reshot at 9am and the place sold in 5 days. Anyone else run into this with afternoon shoots?

My buddy did that exact thing and had to redo the whole shoot after a complaint.

Gotta disagree hard on this one... south facing windows at 2pm in July are exactly what buyers want to see, that golden afternoon light makes rooms look warm and inviting. Most people work 9 to 5 so they're house hunting on weekends when 2pm is the perfect time to show how the natural light actually hits during real life hours. Reshooting at 9am feels like tricking buyers into thinking the place gets sun all day when it doesn't.
