My uncle told me to buy in Forest Heights back in 2010
He kept saying those older homes near the river valley would hold value better than anything in the new subdivisions. I ignored him because I wanted a fresh build in Summerside with granite counters. That house in Summerside cost me $35,000 in repairs over 5 years while his Forest Heights place doubled in value. Anyone else wish they had listened to a family member's real estate advice?
