Talked to a commercial agent yesterday and now I'm rethinking residential
Had coffee with a guy named Mark who leases out industrial space near the Yellowhead. He said most of his clients are signing 5 year deals without hesitation, while I'm seeing residential listings sit for 45 days. Made me wonder if I should look into a small commercial property myself. Anyone else been thinking about making the switch?

Commercial headaches are a different beast though. Make sure you're ready for triple net leases and tenants who expect you to fix a broken furnace at 2am.

Tbh my buddy had a tenant call him at 3am because a squirrel died in the wall.
