My garage lighting upgrade taught me a neat wire management hack

I was adding LED strips to my garage and realized using adhesive clips keeps the wires tidy. It made the whole install look clean and took half the time.

Adhesive clips sound like a smart move for keeping wires tidy. What kind did you use, like plastic ones with sticky backs? I'm curious how well they hold up on garage walls, especially with temperature changes. Did you have to prep the surface at all before sticking them on?

Yeah @troyp37, sand the wall first or those clips will fall off when it gets hot.

Sand the wall with 120-grit paper to rough it up. Clean it with rubbing alcohol after. Those plastic clips stayed on my garage wall all year. Heat doesn't matter if you prep right.
