A customer in Memphis brought me a toaster that was full of glitter

It was a basic two slice model, but when I opened it up, the whole inside looked like a disco ball. The guy said his kid tried to make 'magic toast' for a school project about 2 months ago. I spent over an hour with a small brush and a vacuum, picking out every single sparkly bit so it wouldn't short the heating elements. Now I always ask 'any arts and crafts projects lately?' before I even plug something in. Anyone else had a repair job that started with a totally wild story?

Wait, he let his kid do that two months ago?

Honestly that sounds like a waste of time, just blow it out with some compressed air and call it a day. The glitter probably would have just burned off anyway.
