Decided between roller guides and slide guides on a mod job
Had to choose for a 12-floor passenger bank downtown. Went with roller guides because the rails had some wear but man, the installation took twice as long as I budgeted. Has anyone dealt with that kind of trade-off on a tight schedule?

Man roller guides are brutal on timeline estimates. Had a similar 8 floor set a few months back where the rails were uneven and we ended up shimming every single bracket. @skyler_kim15 nailed it, they always take longer than you think because you're fighting the rail condition the whole time. That job ran almost 3 hours over my bid just on the install alone.
