Can we talk about the woman who cried during a dermaplane session?

I had a client in her 50s last Tuesday who started tearing up about halfway through a dermaplane treatment. She said it was the first time in 20 years she felt her skin without peach fuzz getting in the way... and it reminded her of being a teenager. It caught me off guard but I just kept going slow and let her talk it out. Has anyone else had a client get emotional over something simple like that during a facial or service?

Oh man, this hit me right in the feels... I had a lady maybe a year ago who started crying when I was just doing a simple face massage. She said nobody had touched her face like that since her mom passed away like 15 years ago. I felt so bad at first, like I'd done something wrong, but she kept saying it was a good cry. Made me realize how much we hold onto stuff in our bodies and how something as simple as a facial can bring it all up. I just kept my hands gentle and let her have her moment, didn't rush her or anything. It's kind of beautiful when you think about it, people trusting you enough to let those walls down.

Wait is that actually a thing, people crying during face massages? I've never had that happen with any of my clients, but I guess I mostly work with dogs who are a little too busy wagging their tails to get emotional about grooming. It makes sense though, touch is such a powerful thing and we forget how much we miss it sometimes.
