Had a steamer die on me mid-shift yesterday

I was in the middle of a facial for a regular client in Austin and my Silhouet-Tone steamer just stopped producing steam. No sputtering, no warning, just dead. I had to finish the extractions with just hot towels and a lot of praying. Has anyone else had a steamer fail like that out of nowhere, or am I just unlucky?

Hot towels and a lot of praying" killed me haha. I can just picture you frantically dunking towels in the back sink like a mad scientist. But wait, you were in the middle of extractions? That's the worst timing possible. Like the universe just decided to test you right when you're elbow deep in blackheads. My old steamer had a weird thing where it would get airlocked if I tilted it wrong, but yours just went silent mid-stream? That's scary. I'd be paranoid about electrical fires or something.

Ngl mine did the same thing, but it wasn't steamers it was the water heater at the station.
