Just read that 90% of visible skin aging is from the sun
I was looking at a study from the Cleveland Clinic the other day. It said that up to 90% of the skin changes we think of as normal aging, like wrinkles and spots, are actually from sun damage. I always knew sun was a factor, but seeing that number really hit me. It makes me think we should be even more direct with clients about daily sunscreen, not just for summer or the beach. But then, I worry about scaring people off or sounding too pushy. Where do you all draw the line between educating and overwhelming a client on this?

My aunt was a flight attendant for thirty years, always on the sunny side of the plane. I mean, her left arm looks about twenty years older than her right one, it's wild. That visual really drilled it into my head more than any study number could. Idk, maybe showing a picture like that is too much for clients, but it sure made me a sunscreen fanatic.

Wow, that's a brutal before-and-after picture built right into one person. Guess she got a permanent discount on anti-aging cream for half her arm. Seriously though, that's the kind of proof you can't argue with.
