Just realized my extraction pressure was way too high after a client in Phoenix winced and said 'that feels like a staple gun'.

I'd been using the same force for years, but that comment made me check my gauge and I was pushing at 12 psi instead of the recommended 4-6. What's a subtle sign you've gotten a technique wrong?

A client telling you it hurts is a pretty obvious sign, not a subtle one. Subtle would be them just not rebooking.
