TIL a huge number of people think you can't get sun damage through a window

I was reading a dermatology study from last year that said up to 80% of UVA rays pass through standard glass. I found this out after a client insisted her office window protected her from needing morning SPF. How are you guys handling this kind of misinformation with clients?

Wait, 80% gets through? That's way more than I thought. I figured windows blocked most of it. This makes me want to recheck my own car and house windows now.

Honestly, showing them the actual study data works best. People tend to trust numbers over just my word. It turns a debate into a simple fact check.

Exactly! We see this everywhere now, not just with UV light. People just assume things work a certain way because it sounds right. Then the real numbers come out and surprise everyone.
