Vent: Spent $400 on a sewing pattern making software and it's garbage
I dropped $400 on some fancy pattern drafting software last month. Thought it would save me time making my own designs. Nope. The interface is clunky. The grading tool doesn't work right. I spent three nights fighting with it to draft a basic A-line skirt. Finally I just grabbed some kraft paper and a ruler and did it by hand in 45 minutes. Now the software is sitting on my desktop unused. Anyone else stick with old school methods after wasting cash on digital tools?

The grading tool just spat out random sizes and refused to keep the proportions right, total waste of time lol.

Which part of the grading tool broke on you? I've heard some of those programs can't handle even basic size adjustments without glitching out.
