Composite fences are taking over but I'm not sold
Many around here choose composite for its long life, but I've seen them buckle in heat. One job last summer had panels bending badly after a hot spell.

Ever think it might be a bad install or a cheap brand? Good composite with the right frame doesn't do that in normal heat. My neighbor's has been solid for years.

Yeah, that's a great point. It really shows how two identical products can end up totally different based on who puts them in. I notice this with lots of home stuff, like flooring or fences, where a quick job ruins good materials. My cousin had a similar deck issue because the crew didn't leave enough space for expansion. Makes you trust reviews less and just hope for a skilled installer.
