Hit 500 fence posts set in one day last week, never done that before

I was on a job in Phoenix putting up a 6 foot privacy fence, and I managed to set exactly 500 posts in one shift. My record before was around 350, so this caught me off guard because the ground was actually harder than usual. Anyone else ever hit a number that surprised them on a big project?

Man, 500 posts in a day is wild. I remember once I was laying sod and the roll count just kept climbing, I hit 300 before I even took a lunch break. Makes you wonder if the ground was just cooperating or your body was on some kind of autopilot.

It's like your body just takes over when the task is repetitive enough. I notice the same thing when I'm doing dishes or folding laundry, you hit a rhythm and suddenly the pile is gone and you dont even remember the last 10 minutes. There's something weirdly satisfying about that autopilot mode though, it frees up your brain to think about random stuff while your hands keep working. Kind of makes you realize how much of our daily lives run on muscle memory without us even noticing.
