PSA: I was setting post concrete wrong for five years until a rainstorm in Memphis showed me.
I used to mix the whole bag dry, pour it in the hole, then add water, thinking it was faster. A big downpour last month washed out a half-set post and I saw the concrete was still powdery inside. How do you guys mix your post concrete to make sure it sets solid every time?

Wait you used to mix the powder first? I totally did that for years and it always got clumpy. Adding the water first makes it so smooth, it was a total game changer for me. I fought my roommate on this until she made me try it her way. Now I'll never go back, it just works better.
