Spent $45 on a fancy airlock setup and honestly it's been more trouble than it's worth

Tbh, the three-piece airlocks keep drying out faster than my old simple S-bend ones, and I've had two batches get weird because of it. Has anyone else gone back to the basics after a bad buy?

Just add a splash of vodka to the airlock next time lol.

Bet paying $45 for that was the real problem here.
