That one Saturday where I fixed 3 things before noon felt incredible
Last weekend I woke up early and decided to tackle some broken stuff around the house. First I replaced the handle on my busted coffee maker with a part I found at Goodwill for 2 bucks. Then I patched a hole in my jeans with a iron-on patch from the dollar store. And then I tightened the loose screws on my nightstand so it stopped wobbling. By 11am I had hot coffee, patched pants, and a stable table. Best morning I have had in months. Does anyone else get that rush when you knock out multiple small fixes in one day?

Best morning I have had in months" honestly same here, but my version was way more pathetic. I woke up at 6am, finally fixed the sticky drawer on my dresser with a butter knife, replaced a burnt lightbulb in the hallway that's been dead since Halloween, and unclogged the bathroom sink with a bent wire hanger. By 10am I felt like a DIY superhero, even though I'm pretty sure I just made everything jankier. The drawer now opens but won't close all the way, the lightbulb flickers sometimes, and the sink drains slower than before. But hey, I did three things before noon and that's a win in my book.

Try a dab of super glue on that drawer part before you jam the knife back in there, it should hold better than just wedging it. For the flickering bulb just twist it tighter sometimes they just need a firmer seated connection.
