PSA: my washing machine drum stopped spinning and the fix was just $8 for a new belt

Found a tutorial from a guy in Cleveland who showed me how to pop the back panel off and swap the belt in 20 minutes, even with zero tool experience. Has anyone else had their machine start making that high-pitched squeal before the belt goes?

Same thing happened to me! That squeal is the belt telling you it's about to snap. I also found a random YouTube guy who walked me through it, felt like a genius after.
