Tried using a new adhesive on a glue-down vinyl job last week and it set up way too fast.

It was a 90-degree day in Phoenix, and the stuff skinned over in maybe 10 minutes, leaving me with a bunch of tiles I couldn't reposition. What's your go-to adhesive for hot weather installs to avoid this mess?

Honestly sounds like a basic prep issue more than a glue problem. Did you cool the floor first or just slap it down on a hot slab? Most adhesives have a hot weather working time right on the bucket. Maybe check that next time instead of blaming the product.

Prep matters, but what adhesive actually works in that heat?

The bucket says it's rated for 120 degrees Fahrenheit, which is hotter than most summer slabs.
