A bride's mother told me my bouquets were too heavy to hold comfortably during the ceremony.
I switched from using thick, heavy stems like gladiolus as a base to lighter, hollow ones like delphinium, and now I ask every client about the weight during the consultation.

I mean, brides hold them for what, like twenty minutes? Seems like a weird thing to get hung up on.

Honestly @ellis.ivan, you're not wrong. But those twenty minutes are in front of like, two hundred people and a professional photographer. Tbh, if I'm spending that much on a fancy dead plant bundle, I'd want it to be perfect too. It's all about the pictures forever.

Oh man, I get it though. My sister was super picky about her bouquet. She found a florist who did a mock-up with fake flowers first, so she could see the exact colors and shape. Totally saved her stress on the real day.
