5 Star Tuning vs MPT Tuning for a daily driver?

I'm torn between 5 Star Tuning and MPT Tuning for my F-250 6.2L. I mostly use it as a daily driver but haul a heavy travel trailer a few times a month. MPT seems to have really aggressive performance numbers, but 5 Star gets brought up a lot for towing reliability. Does anyone have experience with either of these? Pros and cons?

I agree about the shifting differences. I had a buddy who went with MPT and he ended up asking them to dial back the shift pressure because it was snapping his neck at low speeds. It's awesome for the track, but maybe overkill for grocery getting and towing.

Can't speak on MPT, but I've had the 5 Star tunes for a while now. The optional warranty packages they offer on their powertrains really gave me peace of mind. Definitely the safer bet if longevity is your main goal with that 6.2.

I've actually run both on my truck. MPT is super fun if you want a really aggressive pedal feel and hard shifts, but for daily driving and hauling, I much prefer 5 Star Tuning. Their shift points feel a lot more natural when you're loaded down, and the transmission doesn't constantly hunt for gears on the highway.
