Appreciation post: The $80 bed liner spray kit that saved my tailgate from my dog

My lab jumped out and scratched the heck out of it, but that Herculiner roll-on kit covered everything up and looks decent. Anyone have a good trick for keeping pets from using the truck as a launch pad?
