Someone told me my 'forgotten games' list was just the same old stuff everyone posts
I used to just list games like 'Jet Force Gemini' or 'Vagrant Story' that get talked about a lot. A user here, 'PixelPioneer', commented 'You're just listing the usual suspects, not the real deep cuts.' I started looking for stuff like 'Tail of the Sun' on PS1 or 'The Divide: Enemies Within' on PC. What's a game you think is truly forgotten, not just underrated?

Yeah, that "usual suspects" comment hit me too. I got way into weird PS2 budget titles after that, like "Road Trip Adventure". It's a weird car RPG nobody talks about.

Man, Road Trip Adventure is such a hidden gem! I think the thing that makes it special is how it treats the car like a character instead of just a vehicle. Most driving games make the car feel like a tool, but that one actually builds a weird little world around you and your car having a personality. Did yours ever do that thing where it would randomly talk to you during a race, or was that just my copy being glitchy?

Usual suspects" is right, it's like people just copy the same list from a wiki page. My deep cut is "Mister Mosquito" on PS2, a game about being a bug that nobody asked for. That's the kind of weird stuff that actually got lost.
