My old way of gluing beach glass was a mess until I found that gel stuff

I used to use regular white glue for my beach glass mosaics and it would always run, making the pieces slide around for hours. Last month at the craft store in Salem, the cashier said to try a clear gel adhesive and it changed everything because it holds right away. What do you all use to keep small, slick found objects in place?

Yeah that gel adhesive is a game changer. I use E6000 for stuff like that, it's thick and doesn't run.

Saw a warning about E6000 fumes being really bad if you don't have a window open. Heard it can mess with your lungs if you use it a lot in a small room. That gel type is definitely better for control on vertical surfaces. Makes the whole project less messy.

Who knew crafting came with a free lung exam, right? I guess that's the price we pay for stuff that actually sticks. At least the gel version means we're breathing in a little less of the fun stuff.
