I went against the grain and chose a manual ladle over a new tilting furnace for our small-batch bronze work.

After 6 months of pouring with the old-school setup, I've found the control for complex shapes is unmatched, even if it takes longer, so has anyone else stuck with manual methods when everyone else is automating?

Wait, you're doing bronze work with a manual ladle? That's some serious old-school muscle. The heat and the weight alone sound like a full workout every time.

Yeah, it's a workout for sure. @uma306, have you ever tried handling a full ladle yourself? I'm curious how the heat feels compared to other hot work.
