I finally nailed a sunset orange mix, but it won't stop clogging my nib

I mixed red and yellow ink last week for a sunset orange color. Now it clogs my pen every time. Some say it's too dense, others blame ink chemistry. Should I dilute it or start fresh? Curious to hear your thoughts.

Try adding a drop of dish soap to break surface tension.

Yeah, @the_jenny's soap trick is solid for flow... but if the inks are separating, you might have a pH clash. Some reds are really acidic and yellows can be basic, so they curdle almost like bad milk when they meet in the feed. Might need to stick to inks from the same brand or same line.

What if the red and yellow inks have different types that don't mix well? That might be why gunk builds up and clogs your nib. Did you check if one ink is waterproof or has special stuff in it?
