My nephew asked if I could make 'unicorn blood' ink for his birthday card
He was completely serious, and it got me thinking about how to actually make a shimmer ink that shifts color. I spent last weekend trying to layer a blue base with red sheen and silver sparkle. After three test batches, I ended up with a clogged feed and a purple mess that dried to a muddy brown. It was a fun failure though. Has anyone else tried to create a multi-effect ink like that and gotten it to work?
