Checked my old YouTube channel and saw a review I did 4 years ago just hit 100k views.
It was for a cheap power bank that I thought was junk, but the video keeps getting comments from people who bought it and had the same issues. Has anyone else had a random old review blow up like that?

Oh man, that happened to me with a video about a terrible phone case. It got like 50 views and died, then three years later it's got half a million. The thing fell apart if you looked at it wrong. My advice? Pin a comment at the top of your video now. Just say "This product failed, do not buy it in 2024." It stops a few people from wasting their money. It's the only useful thing you can do after the fact.

Three years later and it got half a million views? That's the part that blows my mind. The internet works in such weird ways. Your advice is solid, pinning a warning is a good move. It's just wild to think something you forgot about can suddenly find a huge audience years down the line. Makes you wonder what else is sitting there waiting to pop off.

Half a million views on a three year old video about a terrible phone case. That's the internet equivalent of getting famous for a mugshot you forgot existed. Guess your failure has a longer shelf life than that phone case did.
